What is a picture worth?

In my daily 9-5 life, I work as a real estate assistant (unlicensed), and one of my many jobs is to take (attractive!!) photos of all of the houses that we list for sale. I've been doing this for many years and I quite enjoy it.

Over the last couple of years, I have turned this interest in photography into one of my hobbies away from the office - I don't specialize in any one specific genre. I dabble in many fields - even recently taking on the daunting task of shooting a wedding!

I was just doing some organizing on my computer and came across a couple of photos that show the spectrum of my interest from one end to the other; macro to landscape...

Above is a photo I took in Watkins Glen, NY in July early in the morning on a cool day. My subject was having a bath in the early morning sun on the hood of a car.

Below, again taken in the early morning hours, is a field of hay bales. This was taken in mid-August at about 6:30am in Bowmanville, Ontario.

Right now, my camera is the Canon Rebel EOS but I have my eye on the Rebel XTi...I'm hoping Santa gives me a gift card for Henry's again this Christmas!!
