Once upon a time...

... I was young and carefree.

Once upon a time...

I was intelligent, pretty & thin... I was confident. The world was mine for the taking.

Once upon a time...

... I knew without a doubt what I would be when I grew up.

The reality...

...I am approaching middle-age and lost.

When you are lost, just reach out your hand and you will find mine there waiting to help. You are the perfect age (don't you remember what torture being young was?) Being carefree is just a frame of mind, we need to visit the bumps at Durham College. You are the most intelligent person I know and your beauty increases everyday, inside and out. The world is there waiting to be taken, it never goes anywhere that you don't. The thing that our parents told us when we were kids (you know...You can be anything you want to be honey.) you may think that they lied to you, but they didn't. What they failed to tell us is that there isn't a time limit on that statement, we may not reach a magic number and be everything we want to be. But we do have a lifetime to attempt to a achieve everything we had planned on as children. And girl you had better not be approaching middle age yet, because we are the same age and I don't plan on reaching that destination for another 15-20 years. So you need to dump your flight plan and come on my road trip the sights are much better down here!
lots of love hugs and kisses

I took a drive over the Durham College bumps this morning. It's not the same without you with me. People just look at you funny...

'Til the end of the ride, right?

Well we just need to have another girls day and find all the bumps we can on our way to nowhere. I'm always here for you, to Hell and back if need be (but I must warn you the back part is a prerequisite as I am not planning on staying there! lol)
'Til the end of the ride and beyond!
